San Ysidro - Regular (All Traffic) Lanes Directions

Directions to San Ysidro Regular (All Traffic) Lanes

Updated April 10, 2023

Preferred Route to the San Ysidro Regular (All Traffic) Entrance

The following video and map depict the preferred way to get to the regular border entrance at San Ysidro, also known as the "All Traffic" lanes. The All Traffic lanes accept the most types of identity documents and are generally used by border crossers who do not meet eligibility requirements for either the ReadyLane or SENTRI lanes. We feel the route depicted in the video and map below should be reliable except in peak travel times such as during the christmas holiday season. We have also included a map to a longer route to use during peak travel periods

Longer Route to the San Ysidro Regular (All Traffic) Lanes

This is a longer, more direct, route from the toll-road the leads you directly to the All Traffic lanes even during peak travel periods. Instead of taking Via Internacional as in the video and route above, you take Calle Segundo all the way and exit the same on-ramp portrayed in the video
